Andressa started her romance with Tiago when she was 15; they were both in high school. Within three months, they began dating, they went to live together in his house. Arthur Urach Costa (born May 19th, 2005) was their only child. Following marital disagreements, the couple divorced in 2008, after six years together. Andressa Urach was then sent to live with her son at mother's house. After six months, Urach was fired and left her son in the care of his father. Her main goal was to find a happier life within Sao Paulo. In her memoir Morri Para Viver Andressa Urach says she was a victim of sexual assault throughout her childhood a victim of the abuse her foster grandfather suffered which began at the age of 2 to 8. Andressa Urach was able to get rid of it all because her foster grandma caught her doing it. Andressa then returned home to her mom, who was unaware that she had been abused until Andressa published her memoir. In interviews that she had accomplished what was impossible before her spiritual conversion: Forgiving her abuser. One of the toughest choices I've ever had to make was to call the man who sexually assaulted me. It was not an easy option. After much prayer vows and fasting I said via phone that I forgive him and while I didn't feel guilty I also asked for forgiveness. It wasn't a case of justifying myself, I simply asked forgiveness. Mariste Urach discusses in an interview with Globo, the emotions she experienced after learning of the abuse that her daughter endured. She went to the city of Rio Grande do Sul where the pedophile was a resident to seek the revenge.
