Miesha Theresa
Miesha Theresa Tate has been mixed martial artist for over a decade. She is also an expert in mixed martial arts. Tate participated in the Ultimate Fighting Championships, and was a UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. From her early school days The Tacoma native was extremely athletic. Based on a recommendation by an acquaintance, when she was enrolled at Central Washington University she began to participate in the mixed martial art group. At the age of 20 she competed in her first amateur bout against Elizabeth Posener, who specialized in Muay Thai. Her first fight as a professional fighter at the HOOKnSHOOT Women's One-Night Grand Prix in 2007. Following a span of two years, she won the FCF Women's Bantamweight Championship for first time. Tate received praise for her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu style as well as her wrestling. It was a huge hit when she won the 'Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion' shortly following. In addition to her mixed martial arts training, she is a model for various websites and magazines like "ESPN The Magazine" and "Fitness Gurls". As well she has a character that can be played in EA Sports UFC.
